If you are looking for something different to give the dad in your life, here are 11 Unique Father’s Day Gifts You Can Make. In many cases, the kids can help make these gifts too!

11 Unique Father's Day Gifts You Can Make -Kids can help too!

Father’s Day is quickly approaching and soon, mothers and kids alike will be searching for a great gift for Dad.

My dad always favored the gifts we made him. Years later, we found various cards and drawings my siblings and I had given him safely tucked away in a desk drawer.

11 Unique Father’s Day Gifts You Can Make

My Dad Rocks Jar – This is a super cute project that you can really customize for the Dad you’re giving it to! With just a few supplies, you can give them a place to store all the rocks, shells, and other “treasures” given to Dad by the kids in his life.

DIY Neck-Tie Bag – Whether you use these cute bags as gift wrapping or for packing Dad’s lunch, this is a great way to give the “shirt and tie” gift to Dad but add the kid’s own flair by adding personal messages to it.

Home Roasted Coffee – Is Dad a coffee drinker? The kids can help (or do themselves if old enough) roast beans in a hot air popper to give to Dad as a unique gift! Keep them fresh in a mason jar which could be painted or decorated to commemorate the special day!

Toddler DIY – Practical, Personalized Gift for Dad – If you’re on a budget, why not let the kids decorate something he already uses? In this post, they decorate Dad’s new tool bag. It’s sure to bring a smile to his face every time he uses it!

Father’s Day Bookmark – Terrific craft for any age child. You can even include their picture as well as their favorite memories or things about their Dad! What a sweet memory to hold on to as they get older.

Grilling Apron – Got a Dad who loves to grill? Why not give him a hand painted/decorated apron to wear while he grills! Add a personal message, designs, or even hand-prints of the kids.

Painted Hammer – Put a personal touch on Dad’s hammer (or other tools) with a bit of paint and tape!

Painted Birdhouses – Repurpose an old bird house, buy an inexpensive one at the dollar store, or build one from recycled objects around the house! A little paint and imagination (and a mess, let’s be honest) and Dad can use his gift all year.

Dad Rocks Paperweight – A fun handmade gift for Dad’s desk made from rocks and gravel found by the driveway, plus a little water and flour. Make it as basic or detailed as your child would like to make it!

Make Your Own Magnets – A neat gift that could be customized to Dad’s hobbies or quirks using Mod Podge, paper, and magnets. Younger kids may need help with the cutting part of this craft.

Melted Crayon Rocks – Budget friendly idea using rocks and broken crayons! These could also be used as paperweights or walkway decorations too.
