Amazing Homemade Waffles
Finding the perfect waffle recipe is a task! At our house, we’ve tried at least a dozen before creating the most amazing homemade waffles. Once you make this recipe, you will not ever have to search for another waffle recipe again.
One great thing about making homemade waffles is that you can make extra, freeze them, then toast, top them with syrup, and enjoy anytime! My toddler loves to help do the stirring and pouring, making cooking time a chance to spend time together.
Here’s what you need for this recipe:
- Waffle maker
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 3/4 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Step 1:
Turn on your waffle iron.
Step 2:
Start by mixing your eggs alone. Then, mix your wet ingredients together.
Step 3:
Add all the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
Step 4:
Pour into the waffle iron and cook until golden brown. TIP: I use a soup ladle to pour the mix into my waffle iron!
