10 Positive Biblical Affirmations For Busy Moms
I’m the type of mom that loves to hear from her kids and husband that she’s doing a good job. I suppose you can say that’s my love language. Whether it’s just a hug or a kiss, those things make me feel good inside and let me know that I’m doing a good job as their mama. I know you can relate!
However, sometimes as busy moms, we need to hear from God and from ourselves that we’re doing a good job…and that’s where biblical affirmations for busy moms come in!
There are sometimes where I sit back and just cry, or get upset about something that already happened. But then I think, you know what?
Why am I making a big deal out of this? I did do a lot today. I got dressed, I got the kids dressed. Everyone ate. No one was hurt. It was a great day! By praying and thanking God for those blessings we take for granted as humans and also telling these truths to ourselves, I believe that biblical affirmations help us have more control and more of an understanding. It helps us to just be better, which is sometimes all we can do.
What Are Affirmations?
Affirmations are the things that we tell ourselves and the things that we make us believe. The devil will do anything to destroy you, and he plants seeds in our heads all the time. I personally believe that biblical affirmations are a great way to stay connected to the word of God and also get rid of the lies the enemy comes at us with!
As a Christian woman, mother, and wife, I believe that God is the only one who can truly set us free from our negative thinking, but just because we pray one time does not make those thoughts magically go away.
It is a CONSTANT battle to not think negative things, it is even hard to not act negatively at times.

Positive Bibilical Affirmations For Busy Moms
1- My Children Are A Gift From God
Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Psalm 127:3
Children are a gift of God! They are truly precious gifts that we are so thankful for. So always remember, no matter how hard your day was…no matter how much you feel like you failed, they are your gift from God. And He made YOU their mama!
2- I Can Ask God For Wisdom No Matter What
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. James 1:5
So many times, as moms, we struggle to ask for wisdom or guidance. From our spouse, family, friends, you name it. I’m definitely guilty of this. Sometimes I try to handle it all but the truth is, I need God’s wisdom. I need to ask him for guidance. He will never reprimand us for asking for wisdom!
3- I Can Be Kind Like Jesus
A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare. Proverbs 15:1
Ouch. This one hits hard. How many times have you been an angry parent? I know I have, many times. More times than I can count, unfortunately. But the one thing I never do is stop trying. I’m always trying to be better. To do better. To be kinder.
4- He Is Strong When I Am Weak
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
I don’t know about you, but there are some days and nights I just feel totally defeated. Did I say the wrong thing to my kids? Why did I get an attitude with my husband when that was uncalled for? These things constantly make me feel so weak. But God’s grace has us covered!
In all of these difficult areas, we can be strong in our faith even when we feel weak in ourselves.
5- I Choose Peace
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Have you ever had any type of trouble in your life? Just remember, God has still overcome the world! How wonderful is it to have peace in that? No matter our worries, sorrows, nervousness, anxiousness…He is there through it all. And he offers us peace, all we have to do is take it. And choose it.
And that is not easy. So we have to keep leaning in!
6- God Will Comfort Me
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
Ever been weary? Felt burdened? As a busy mom we are given so many tasks, pulled in so many different directions. We’re worrying about our kids health, our own health, their safety, if they ate well enough, all these things spin off in our heads constantly.
Sometimes, we need to take a moment to give those worries to God. And those worries? They will come back. And we give it to Him. Again and again. Because He will always be there to comfort us.
7- I Am Strong And Courageous
So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you. Deuteronomy 31:6
We are so much more than our feelings of defeat, our weakness, our negative thinking! God never leaves us alone in those thoughts and He will never fail you or abandon you!
8- I Have Everything I Need To Be A Better Mom, Wife, Friend, Christian, etc.
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3
It’s pretty crazy to think that we already have everything inside of us to live a Godly life, isn’t it? We rely too much on our own understanding and not enough of His! I know it’s not just me, because we are all human.
9- With The Armor Of God I Can Do Anything
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Ephesians 6:13
How many times in your life should have worn your armor? I need it DAILY! Remember to put your amor on! We need that protection from the enemy at all times.
10- I Am Forgiven
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17
Wow, we are forgiven! How incredible is that? It’s important to look back at your sins. But it’s also important to look forward and know that you are forgiven! God loves you so much, and your husband and kids do too! God gives us grace!
