Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese: A Perfect Comfort Food
When I think of winter, I think of hot soups, stews and grilled cheese. I LOVE grilled cheese, and we like to make all different kinds of grilled cheese in our house. We devoured every last bit of this one and my husband wanted seconds. Since then, he keeps asking when I am going to make these again!
Ingredients:
- 6 thawed chicken breasts
- 1 1/2 cups buffalo sauce
- 1 packet ranch dressing
- Blue cheese crumbles
- panini bread
Directions:
Step 1. Place chicken breasts, ranch packet and buffalo sauce in a crockpot and set temperature to low.
Step 2. Cook for 4-5 hours or until chicken is tender and pulls apart easily. Shred chicken and let sit for 30 more minutes.
Step 3. Butter two sides of bread and place bread butter side down on a frying pan.
Step 4. Spread shredded buffalo chicken on top of bread and sprinkle blue cheese on top. Place other side of bread (butter side up) on top and grill both sides of sandwich until cheese is melted. Enjoy!
