Celebrate Summer with Woodbridge Sweet Wines
Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi recently added two new additions to their extensive portfolio of affordable wines: Sweet Red and Sweet White. These sweet, chilled wines are the perfect drink to sip on a hot day!
Sweet White
Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi’s Sweet White was definitely one of the best sweet wines I have enjoyed. The Sweet White has floral aromas with flavors of ripe citrus and tropical fruit and a finish that is delicately sweet and refreshing. The Sweet White is a blend of Chardonnay, Viognier, and Verdelho, with citrus flavors.
One thing I love about the Sweet White is that it isn’t overly sweet—it has the perfect balance. From experience, I recommend trying this wine with cajun shrimp tacos. Something about the spicy and sweet combination leaves for an amazing taste experience!
Sweet Red
If you are a newbie to wine drinking or maybe just prefer sweet wines, I would definitely recommend Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi’s Sweet Red. This is a very enjoyable wine and extremely easy on the palate. The Sweet Red is primarily a blend of Syrah and Merlot, with fruity notes of strawberry and watermelon and aromas of cherry and raspberry. The wine can be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature, but I prefer it chilled, especially on a hot summer day!
