Red Raspberry Leaf Tea Pregnancy Tea

ByKendra Stamy Updated onJanuary 30, 2023 Healthy Living
Red raspberry leaf tea pregnany tea. Best tea to drink while pregnant!

I’m a huge fan of herbal teas, and since coffee was (mostly) off limits while I was pregnant I really appreciated my teas.

My red raspberry leaf tea pregnancy tea was my favorite. And the benefits of it just cannot be beat.  Herbs like nettle bringing a wonderful source of iron, and red raspberry which offers such great female support made this the perfect tea.

Red Raspberry Leaf Tea Pregnancy Tea:

  • 8 Parts Red Raspberry Leaf
  • 3 Parts Alfalfa
  • 3 Parts Peppermint
  • 5 Parts Nettle

All the herbs need crushed and mixed together. Now, I bought that blend from the Bulk Herb Store. Their recipe only uses 2 parts nettle, but knowing how wonderful nettle really is, I wanted to add a bit more. So I used the blend I bought and added in a little extra nettle.

Red Raspberry contains essential vitamins and minerals like magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, vitamin C, E, A and B complex. It also contains easily assimilated calcium and iron.

Also the perfect herb for women. It helps to strengthen the uterus, and supplies much needed nutrients to it. Helping with menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth and even recovery.

And don’t forget the men. Red Raspberry helps increase fertility in both male and female.

Alfalfa is another powerhouse of nutrients. containing essential amino acids and high in chlorophyll. It also contain Vitamin K which many women who have ICP are lacking. I was glad my tea contained alfalfa for this reason.

Peppermint best known as a digestive aid, peppermint is a natural stimulant, cleanses and tones the body and also makes your teas taste great!

Nettle What can I say about nettle that I didn’t already say in an earlier post. If you are wondering why you should use nettles in your tea, check out this post.

I’m also drinking this tea while nursing. The benefits are still amazing and the nutrients are still needed. I may not be creating a life anymore, but I’m still sustaining one. 🙂

The only reason you shouldn’t drink this is if you are struggling to keep your milk supply up. Mint can decrease your milk supply.

The original red raspberry leaf tea pregnancy tea that I bought came from the bulk herb store. If you are looking for a tea to drink while nursing, that contains many of the same nutrients and also helps with your milk supply why not try the Momma’s Milk Tea.
