There are so many opportunities to share our faith with the people we love and also with strangers. It may not even ever start a conversation, but it will get the gears turning in their minds! And that, as a Christian is an amazing thing to be able to do!
Why Is It Important To Share Our Faith
It’s so important to share our faith. Whether we are sharing it with our spouse, children, or family or friends it’s important to spread the word of God. It is very clear in the Bible that we need to share the word of God!
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. It’s true that I believe verbal communication is the best way to do this, however, there are other ways too!

One of the coolest ways, and sometimes a really great conversation starter is by wearing Christian clothing! There are so many options that you can choose from. You can

- Rock your favorite Bible verse
- Rock your favorite verse from a song
Just to name a few! So get to searching, and find that perfect t-shirt! Maybe instead you want your favorite Bible verse on a purse or a tumbler.
Maybe you want earrings that represent your faith, or a necklace!

When you have people over, it’s important that people know right away who you are. In my honest opinion if you don’t have any Christian home decor it’s okay, it’s not exactly necessary… but it is nice to see it right when you walk into someone’s home!
The first thing that you see when you walk into our home is a plaque with sayings on it, it’s a list of “rules” that we go by in our house and they all trace back to Bible verses.
You can have something like that or just something that simply explains you are a child of God. What a great way to not only represent God but I believe it also blesses and fills your home!
3. Start A Prayer Group
Being a working mom is challenging. Truth be told…we need prayer warriors behind us! If your job doesn’t have a prayer group, start one today! If your job already has a prayer group, join it!
It’s a powerful way to connect on a deeper level with your co-workers, and how wonderful is it to be filled by God’s grace along with your fellow co-workers at work?!
I just recently joined our prayer group at work and it has been really enlightening and inspiring seeing everyone come together. Definitely recommend doing this!
You can do this if you own your own business, too! Maybe even start one at church, or with other moms in your community!
4. Including God In Conversation
Whenever you can, include your faith and/or God in your conversation. Use it as a beacon of light for others and to remind yourself of who you are. You are a child of God and it is okay to talk about it!
I am not talking about just at work either, but doing it everywhere, at every opportunity! As Christians, we should be doing this!
Any opportunity I get to talk about God with my kids, I do! In most situations, in sibling conflicts, and even with my husband.
It’s important that everything goes back to God. No matter what it is!
5. Get Involved
It’s really inspiring to be involved in the community. My husband and our oldest daughter and I are all involved with our church and it is incredible being able to help and being of service to them.
There are so many things to be done at church and I guarantee there is a spot for you somewhere if you just ask!
Don’t be afraid to get involved. It may seem intimidating at first, but God has your back!
