Mansplain Mishaps: 6 Times Men Thought They Knew Better (But Didn’t)

To some men, mansplaining doesn’t exist. They will tell you this as they mansplain toward the female population. That said population speaks about the worst things men have mansplained to them on the internet.

“My brother in law try explaining to me how the pain of being kicked in the groin is way worse than childbirth or any other pain a woman could go through. His mom told him to shut up,” a respondent says.

1. Groin Pain

One woman mentioned that she sent her ex-boyfriend to the store to buy menstrual products and gave him a photo of the exact brand and type she needed. The boyfriend purchased the wrong kind and defended himself by claiming all the products are and do the same thing.

2. Menstrual Products

During a movie screening with a boyfriend, a girl recalls the main character making poor choices and uttering how she doesn’t think through her actions. The boyfriend retorted that she doesn’t understand female psychology.

3. Female Psychology 

A woman admits that due to a lack of resources and funds, she lived out of her car in 2013. A few years after she found a home and steady job, her brother-in-law informed her she didn’t know what it was like to be poor, even though his father sent him money his entire life.

4. What It’s Like To Have No Money

Imagine a scenario more hilarious than a man explaining the idea behind equal rights for males and females to a woman. “Let’s say he didn’t try that again because my laughter was very hurtful to his ego,” a commenter quips.

A forum member notes they overheard a man explaining the ins and outs of PayPal’s system to a woman employed at PayPal. Another worker adds that men consistently mansplain her job to her, ignoring her advanced credentials.
