Cranberry Sauce to Crave

ByGuest Updated onMarch 31, 2023 Everyday, Food & Drink

It is absurd to me that anyone would ever think of serving cranberry sauce out of a can when making this recipe for cranberry sauce is SOOO easy! It is can seriously be done in under thirty minutes and you can even make it a few days ahead so you don’t have to worry about making this when you are knee-deep in all of your other recipes. Give this homemade cranberry sauce recipe a try and you will never need the canned sauce again!

Ingredients:

    • 1 12oz package fresh cranberries
    • 1 cup orange juice
    • 1/2 cup white sugar
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions:

Step 1.  In a saucepan, heat the sugars and the orange juice and cook until sugar liquefies. Add cranberries and place a splatter guard over your pan. Cook until the cranberries start to pop (about 10-15 minutes).

Step 2.  Remove from heat and cool completely before serving. It is best to let it cool overnight to get the sauce a chance to thicken.
