Fun Fall Caramel Apple Kit Gift

It’s no secret that we love Apples here at Simply Real Moms, and fall is the time for apple picking and delicious apple recipes!
One of my absolute favorite apple treats every fall (and the rest of the year too) is Caramel Apples. So delicious, crisp and sweet with a candy coating that curbs my sweet tooth cravings every time. So when I was getting ready to Boo my neighbors this year (click on THIS link to learn all about Boo-ing your neighborhood and to get free printables) I wanted a fun caramel apple treat to give to each of them, but didn’t want too much work, since I have a toddler and a newborn in the house and have only a little extra time for fun projects. So I decided to make Caramel Apple Kits for my neighbors so that they can make their own fun treats, and make them the way they like them!
This was seriously easy to make, but looks impressive and will make the day of the person you gift it to.
First, grab the needed items for this project:
Apples
Jam sized mason jars
String/Ribbon/Twine
A Stick/Popsicle Stick/Skewer or Chop Stick
Caramels
Toppings (Nuts, M&M’s, Chocolate Chips, Heath Bar, etc.)
Layer your toppings into a Jam Sized mason jar (I got mine at Walmart for $4 for 4 of them).
Top with a few of the caramels and cover with the lid.
Top the jar with an apple, then wrap with string, a ribbon or twine and place a tag onto the string for personalization.
This not only makes a great neighbor gift, but one for your kids’ teachers, a friend, your pastor or even your mailman/trash man!
Happy fall!
