Sweet, Delectable, Stovetop Cinnamon Apples

You don’t need much to make these Stovetop Cinnamon Apples:
- 4-6 apples (my favorite for any baking/cooking are Granny Smith apples)
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- Raisins–these are optional. My son loves raisins, so I thought I’d toss them in. I also think nuts might be good in this recipe, but I haven’t tried them yet.
- Butter (just enough to melt in the bottom of your pan)
- 2 tablespoons of water
Step 1:
Core and cut your apples. I didn’t even peel my apples!
Mix together all the other ingredients in a small bowl. Add them to the bowl of sliced apples, tossing well.
Melt about a half to one tablespoon of butter in the bottom of your pan. Add your two tablespoons of water and apple mixture to the pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring from time to time, for about 10-15 minutes.
