In most cases, identifying the toxic person in a crowded room is easy: Just look for the person constantly talking over others! Interrupting and speaking loudly and boisterously is one of the most annoyingly toxic traits a person can have.

From school bullying to adults taking their insecurities out on each other, we can all do better these days, can’t we? “Straight-up bullying needs to stop, obviously,” one man declares. “Sure buddy, that’s a ‘joke,’ not an insult to someone’s appearance that hurts their feelings.”

Believe it or not, I don’t mind when men label themselves as an “Alpha.” Doing so gives me all the reasons I need to ignore them at all costs. Like many toxic traits on this list, social media has only amplified men boasting about being “alpha.”

Peculiarly, a segment of the female population believes they are entitled to a “queen-esque” life. One man puts it all into perspective. “A toxic trait in women is when they believe men only exist to make them happy or their life better by treating them like a princess every day,” he dutifully explains.

According to many, hiding (and straight-up lying) about aspects of a relationship means that you most likely live in a fantasy world where your expectations never coexist with reality. Above all else, lying is toxic behavior!
