The man in this story, for instance. He isn’t entirely pleased with his wife’s “princess act,” and he doesn’t hesitate to let her know: she is no Disney princess, and this is real life, not a fairytale land.
For several months, Quinton claims his wife has been “eerily acting like a child.” Who knew acting like a child could be eerie?
He understands that she’s acting that way because she is playing with their little daughter, but it still creeps him out, even though most people consider it cute.
A mother playing dress-up with her daughter in princess outfits — wouldn’t that be a pretty sight? But it comes across to Quinton as weird that she would play the role, too.
Their daughter wanted a mini pizza and asked him to make her one. His wife said, “Me too, because I’m a princess, too.” And here comes the sad part. He told her, “No, you’re an adult, not a princess. I’ll make you one, but you’re an adult.”
Thanks? The pizza man gets zero stars. What he did must have hurt so much that anyone would lose interest in the pizza, even if the best chef in the world made it.
Even if she’s no princess, treating your partner respectfully is one of the first marriage rules, right? After Quinton’s comment, his wife laughed nervously and said, “Okay, never mind.”
