Easter Appetizer for Kids: Potted Carrots and Dip!
I’m always looking for fun ways to serve up some veggies to my son, so when spring comes, this is a go-to appetizer for Reece. I serve these at Easter dinner, but they’re also great for any spring or summer kids’ party. Kids LOVE anything with dip and you can send them home with the little pots so they can grow something of their own!
In addition to being fun, these couldn’t be easier. I’m able to make them in fewer than 15 minutes and I always get lots of compliments on them at parties. Enjoy!
Materials:
- 12 mini terra cotta planters
- 36 mini carrots
- A few stalks of fresh parsley
- 12 oz. plain Greek yogurt (you can also use sour cream if you prefer).
- 1 packet of ranch dressing (powdered)
- 1 toothpick

Step 2. Mix the Greek yogurt and the ranch packet well.
Step 3. Fill each planter with ranch dip.
Step 4. Poke each carrot with a toothpick to create a hole at the top.
Step 5. Break off parsley leaves and insert stem into top of each carrot and place carrots into your potted plants.
