Fathers Day Craft for 2 Year Olds
I have the best time with the little girl I am nanny to. She just turned two and is a real handful (in a good way), and a joy to take care of. To keep her occupied, I took in some craft supplies, to help her make a Fathers Day craft. I wasn’t sure how it would go, because she is only two and wouldn’t be able to do the crafts I did with preschoolers. However, it went great!
She is such a ham! When I get out my camera she immediately starts making silly faces. 🙂
It was a pretty basic Fathers Day craft, I helped her use her fingers to make the trunk. Then four hand prints to make the leaves. I sponged a little paint in the middle so it looked a more like a tree. The frame is cut out of cardboard and we glued cut up yarn to it.
I helped her write the words, Dad and Harper and them let her scribble draw a nice picture on the other side of the tree, glued the frame on and we were done!
I think she was pretty pleased with it! 🙂
